Android Smartphone Update: Google Pixel 11 Series
Google's latest lineup of Pixel phones is here — the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold — with significant improvements over previous models.
With camera updates and loads of new AI-based features there is a lot to look at.
Divevolk Compatability
The good news is that three of the four models - the Google Pixel 11, Pixel 101 Pro & Pixel 11 Pro XL, are compatible with all of the current lineup of Divevolk Housings - SeaTouch 4 Max Plus and SeaTouch 4 Max Platinum. And if you are upgrading from a Pixel 10 you wont need a new adapter.
If you have one of these phones and are looking for your first Divevolk Housing we recommend the SeaTouch 4 Max PLUS Housings
If you already have a SeaTouch 4 Max, Max PLUS or Platinum housing and have upgraded your phone to one of the new Google Pixel phones from a model older than Pixel 10 or if you are changing to/from and XL you will need a new phone adapter. These can be purchased here. If you are unsure which version of the housing you have send us a photo of your housing with the serial number and we can check for you.
Theses phones are also compatible with the previous generation of SeaTouch 4 Max (non-Plus) Housing with a new adapter.
Unfortunately the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold is not compatible with any Divevolk Housings at this time.
What’s New?
Magic Capture
Brand new to the Pixel 11 series is Magic Capture which Google claims lets you "Capture the action without leaving the moment" to capture video and high quality photos all share ready with automatic cropping and blurring from one tap so you don't get distracted by your camera.
Google also says that "results may vary" so it remains to be seen if this will truly be an aid to capture and it seems unlikely it will be a significant feature for underwater shooters.
Camera Looks
Create your own distinct film styles on videos and unique photo aesthetics for stills. We expect this will allow you to maintain consistent looks across your content.
