Shipping policy
DELIVERY COST
Our delivery charges are calculated automatically based on the weight, value and specific items in your cart and your chosen delivery address. The Shipping Options will be displayed to you once you have entered your delivery address before you confirm the order.
We process our orders Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are typically dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 2pm on a working day or anytime on a weekend or holiday may not be dispatched until the next working day. Where possible we will aim to dispatch orders placed after 2pm the same day but this may not always be possible. You can expect an email within 48 hours to let you know your order is on the way. If you are in need of an urgent shipment please do not hesitate to contact us before placing your order and make sure to select an appropriate shipping service when you checkout.
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING
Standard and Next business day delviery rates are calculated at checkout. Our express delivery options for the UK include Royal Mail 24 Tracked, Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm and DHL Express.
Next day delivery applies only to in-stock items ordered before 2pm on weekdays. Orders will be delivered on the next working day unless Royal Mail Special delivery saturday service is selected.
BACKORDER & SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS
Some items which are indicated as being out of stock but still available to order will need to be re-ordered from the supplier. In most cases we will recieve your items within 1-2 weeks and we will then dispatch it to you via an appropriate method. On occasion it can take several weeks if further stock needs to be manufactured. If it is a low value item we may have to wait until we have reached a minimum order amount to be able to restock. Please contact us before placing your order if you have an urgent deadline.
FREE SHIPPING STANDARD UK SHIPPING
Free Shipping is offered to most orders valued over £100 when shipping within mainland UK. Free shipping orders are usually dispatched with Royal Mail 48 Tracked Service within 1-3 working days. In most cases we will dispatch the item the same day or the next day but we cannot guarantee this. If you need your order urgently we recommend selecting an express shipping service which will be prioritised for dispatch.
Some items are Excluded from Free Shipping rates including:

- Special Order Items
DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATES AND ESTIMATES
For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on location and package weight.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We are currently unable to offer international shipping.
RESTRICTED ITEMS
Any orders which contain:
- Power Banks
- Li-ion Batteries without a compatible device
- A device with more than two spare Li-ion batteries
- More than four Li-ion batteries in total
Will be sent Royal Mail 48 Tracked. Due to restrictions sending power banks and Li-ion batteries by air, we are unable to send the above items to the following postcodes: ZE, BT, GY, IM, IV 40 49 51, JE, KW 15-17, HS, KA27-KA28, PA20-38 41-49 60-78 80, PH41-44, PO30-41, TR21-25
REFUNDS, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at customerservices@lightbalance.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
Please note: We are unable to accept returned power banks or batteries once they have been opened from their packaging. Please make sure the batteries are compatible with your device before opening.
