Android Smartphone Update: Google Pixel 10 Series
Google's latest lineup of Pixel phones has just arrived — the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold — with significant improvements over previous models.
With camera updates, Qi charging and loads of AI-based features there is a lot to look at.
Divevolk Compatability

If you have one of these phones and are looking for your first Divevolk Housing we recommend the SeaTouch 4 Max PLUS Housings
If you already have a SeaTouch 4 Max, Max PLUS or Platinum housing and have upgraded your phone to one of the new Google Pixel phones you will need a new phone adapter. These can be purchased here. If you are unsure which version of the housing you have send us a photo of your housing with the serial number and we can check for you.
Theses phones are also compatible with the previous generation of SeaTouch 4 Max (non-Plus) Housing with a new adapter.
Unfortunately the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is not compatible with any Divevolk Housings at this time.
What’s New?
- Telephoto Lens is now included on all the models in the lineup. Unlike previous series where the telephoto lens was only included on the Pro models it is now available on the Pixel 10.
- Downgraded Sensors? The existing sensors on the non Pro model have effectively been downgraded in terms of their resolution. This may be to accomadate the additional lens or to allow the AI to run more effectively. Its also possible Google believes the new AI features can make up for these apparent downgrades. The other models have the same specs as the previous generation.
- Improved Image processing across all the models has allowed google to claim improvements to colour, focus, detail and noise creating better images overall.
-
Video capabilities: The pro models are both capabale of 8K video at 24 or 30 fps or up to 60fps at 4K. Google uses AI processing to upscale to 8K whilst improving the lighting, colour, dynamic range and stabilization whilst reducing noise and grain.
- PRO Res ZOOM is available on the Pro models allowing up to 100x zoom along with High-Res modes while the Pixel 10 has up to 20x zoom.
