This allows you to operate the camera through the smartphone using your cameras connectivity app so that you can adjust settings or pinpoint focusing using your smartphone's touchscreen.  

Or use your smartphone as an underwater monitor for your camera letting you get a cameras eye view even when the back of the camera housing is obscured and giving you increased distance from nervous marine life.  

All of this can be done while your smartphone is safe in its Divevolk SeaTouch 4 Max waterproof touchscreen housing mounted above the camera housing.
