Underwater Color Correction Filter

Our Red and Magenta Colour correcting filters will make your images more colourful and return the contrast to your photos and videos.

A SCUBA Diver takes a shot underwater with the Divevolk Seatouch 4 Max Filters Kit with Red Colour correcting filterAs you go deeper underwater more of the visible light spectrum disappears starting with the reds and oranges leaving you with blue tinted images.  Using a Red or Magenta filter restores the colour to the scene in front of your camera so that the natural colours of the marine life can be seen.

Available as a Red Filter for Blue Tropical Water colour correction or a Magenta Filter for Green Temperate Water colour correction.

The filters are optimised to be used from 5-25 meters deep.  For Deeper water we recommend using a SeaLight Underwater Video Light.  Shallower than 5 meters you may not need a colour correction filter.

Detailed Description

Underwater Colour Correction Filters

Our Red and Magenta Colour correcting filters will make your images more colourful and return the contrast to your photos and videos.

When you go underwater the red and orange wavelengths are no longer present.  As you go deeper more of the visible light spectrum disappears and you are left with blue or green tinted images.

These Divevolk Filters have two 67mm threads.  A male 67mm thread on the back of the filter allows you to attach the filter to a compatible M67 port or adapter.  The female 67mm thread on the front of the filter allows you to attach compatible M67 wet lenses.  The Divevolk DLW-02A Wide-Angle Conversion Lens can be attached to the front of the filter for great underwater colour corrected wide-angle footage.  The Divevolk Expansion Clamp is requited to attach the filter to the DIVEVOLK SeaTouch 4 Max Waterproof Phone Housing.
